Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Massachusetts Convention Center Authority Executive Director David Gibbons, the Board of Directors and all the members for hosting their Board of Directors meeting here in Springfield at our MassMutual Center – home to our beloved Springfield T-Birds. My Administration is committed to working with all of our partners and stakeholders to advance our local economic development initiatives and other projects that would enhance our City. One such project we continue to work with the Authority on is the old Civic Center garage. The Springfield parking garage project is moving along nicely and CDO Tim Sheehan and I are looking forward to working with the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority on moving this project forward.”

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief Development Officer Timothy Sheehan attended the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority Board of Directors meeting today at the MassMutual Center. Mayor Sarno brought greetings and thanked the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority Board and members for their continued efforts working with the Mayor and his Administration on enhancing the opportunities for our MassMutual Center, home of our beloved Thunderbirds!
