Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Mayoral Aide “Coach” Lavar Click visited Springfield native and NFL Star Christian Wilkins Football Clinic at our Central High School football field on Friday to thank Christian and his team and family for their commitment and dedication to giving back to our community.
Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank Christian and the Wilkins family for their continued support and dedicated efforts in giving back to the youths of our community to help them believe that they can both succeed on and off the field. It is terrific and so wonderful to see one of our native son’s make it big with their NFL career. Christian and the Wilkins family have never forgotten their roots and truly love our Springfield. By the way, the field was packed with our Springfield kids, and Christian looks great – going to be a “monster” season for him, too!”
