City of Springfield Action Plan Substantial Amendment #13 2019-2020 CDBG-CV

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds in the amount of $4,051,632.00 to the City of Springfield. These CDBG-CV funds are authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law 116-136, and provide funding to prevent, prepare for, and

respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

This amendment has been published to the City’s website and advertised on the City’s social media accounts on May 28, 2021. A public hearing will take place on Facebook live on June 2, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at www.facebook.com/CityofSpringfieldMA. Spanish-speaking staff will be present and available for translation at the hearing. Accommodations for disabilities will be provided upon request. Comments may be submitted on Facebook during the public hearing.
