Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank and acknowledge all of our public safety officials and first responders for their unyielding and dedicated efforts they do day in and day out, especially our Emergency Medical Services as we celebrate and acknowledge National EMS Week. I am proud to join with Fire Commissioner BJ Calvi and Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood as we join with AMR, who have been a great corporate citizen too, in holding this EMS Appreciation Ceremony. We want to take the opportunity to honor and recognize those who have gone above and beyond in serving our community, especially during these challenging and surreal times as we work together to defeat this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. Throughout this pandemic, our brave and dedicated emergency medical services have continued to do their jobs and save lives. God Bless and Godspeed.”
