City of Springfield Elder Affairs Hold “CARnival” Family Reunion Drive-Thru Parade at Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Health and Human Services (HHS) Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris, Elder Affairs Director Sandy Federico and the Elder Affairs staff for a fun and festive carnival-themed family reunion drive-thru parade for our Springfield Seniors at our Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center. The drive-thru parade included gifts for our seniors and some carnival-themed music, booths and games.

Mayor Sarno states, “What a tremendous and fun carnival themed event for our seniors.  Though we cannot be together in person during these extraordinary and unprecedented times, we remain together in spirit. Along with our Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris and Elder Affairs Director Sandy Federico, we were all so excited to see everyone during these family reunion parades for our seniors and what an event this was!”

“We are all looking forward to the good times and memories we can share together as we continue to work to defeat this COVID-19 Coronavirus, and we will,” Mayor Sarno added.
