Action Plan Substantial Amendment #10 HOPWA-CV 2019-2020
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated supplemental Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds in the amount of $101,003 to the City of Springfield for the Eligible Metropolitan Statistical Area (EMSA) made up of Hamden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties. These HOPWA funds are authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law 116-136, and provides additional funding to HOPWA grantees to maintain operations and for rental assistance, supportive services, and other necessary actions, in order to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.
