Mayor Sarno Responds to Broadcast by Fox News Journalist

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “The report broadcasted by the Fox journalist is totally inaccurate. The City of Springfield has nothing to do with the incident at Smith College in Northampton. I am proud to say that Springfield has been on a historic rebirth prior to the pandemic with nearly $5 billion of economic development and the creation of thousands of new jobs, including improved and new schools, and dozens of neighborhood improvements. I am proud of our citizens of Springfield and our business community, who have contributed to this rebirth. Perhaps the journalist should get his facts straight.”
