Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with MGM Springfield President and COO Chris Kelley and Spirit of Springfield President Judy Matt and Board Chair Melinda Phelps to present American Medical Response (AMR) and the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) with the gift of Bright Nights for their dedicated and frontline workers.

Patrick Pickering, Northeast Regional Director for AMR and Sandra Sheehan, Administrator for the PVTA were on hand to accept this generous gift from MGM Springfield.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank MGM Springfield President and COO Chris Kelley and his team for this very generous gift.  Now more than ever do we need this sense of holiday cheer and joy.  I want to thank Judy Matt and everyone at the Spirit of Springfield for working with my city team and finding a way to continue on with the tradition of Bright Nights as we continue to work together to defeat this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.  We are so grateful to both AMR and the PVTA for everything they do during these surreal and challenging times – day in and day out, they are truly unsung heroes.  This small token of appreciation will hopefully bring some joy to their families during this holiday season.”

Also in attendance was Mr. Bright Nights Paul Picknelly and Dennis Murphy, President of Ventry Associates.
