Mayor Sarno and Congressman Neal Joined the Oasis Food Pantry to Help Hand Out Food and Wish Everyone a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Congressman Richard E. Neal joined with the Oasis Food Pantry and volunteers to help distribute much needed food and wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Oasis Food Pantry held their meals distribution program on Wednesday, November 25th instead of Friday, November, 27th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Mayor Sarno states, “I am so appreciative of John Foley and his team at the Oasis Food Pantry, which continues to assist thousands of families in need.  By offering the meals this Wednesday, those families will have their proper food needs for their Thanksgiving holiday meal.  Again, I cannot thank Mr. Foley and his team enough for their compassion and giving.  This meals distribution program is like a finely tuned machine with heart and touches the lives of so many.”

“While this Thanksgiving may be different than years past, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for, especially the tremendous endeavor that the Oasis Food Pantry has undertaken throughout this pandemic,” said Congressman Richard E. Neal. “Week after week, they have been providing for individuals and families who have suffered from food insecurity during this challenging time. I am grateful for their dedication to our residents and am so appreciative of the volunteers who have stepped up to meet this challenge.”
