ATTENTION RESIDENTS!!!!!
Do to an excessive amount of Yard Waste being collected this week, the Department of Public Works will be running 2-3 days behind schedule for curbside yard waste collection over the next 2-3 weeks. Residents should have yard waste placed curb side on your specified day and it will be collected as soon as possible. Paper yard waste bags should be placed on tree belts and not in the gutter area as rain flowing in the gutter will soak the bottom of the bags most likely cause them to break when collected.
As always, residents do have the option to deposit yard waste material at the Bondi's Island Landfill at no charge. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:15 PM. In addition the drop-off is open during the fall leaf season on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 PM. Please call 787-7840 for more info.
