Mayor Sarno stated, “With the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, now more than ever do we need institutions and organizations such as Tech Foundry to help guide us into this new normalcy. As business sectors transition to this new remote and virtual environments, there is an emphasis on technology and the workforce and skills need to keep up with the growing demands. Listening and talking with Mr. Bruce Dixon, the new Executive Director for Tech Foundry, was very positive and educational. Along with my Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan, the City of Springfield looks forward to working with Mr. Dixon and Tech Foundry as we continue to move our Springfield and our business community towards sustainability.”
