Respiratory Care Week is celebrated across the country by millions of health care professionals and citizens to raise awareness of the need for effective respiratory care.
Mayor Sarno stated, “This week, as we should every week, we want to acknowledge and recognize our dedicated and hardworking doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists who care for our love ones with breathing difficulties due to chronic conditions like asthma. Respiratory Care week helps to highlight this condition and the information needed to keep us breathing well so we all can enjoy a great quality of life.”
