Massachusetts recently announced a new Eviction Diversion Initiative to help households as the eviction moratorium in Massachusetts expires. The initiative aims to keep tenants safely in their homes and to support the ongoing expenses of landlords once the Commonwealth’s pause of evictions and foreclosures expires on Saturday, October 17th.
If you are in need of help paying housing costs, resources are available. Residents can call 2-1-1, which features a language line and trained staff to help you take advantage of state financial aid programs.
