The simulated scenarios were put on by the Springfield Police Department's Training Division out of the Paul J. Fenton Public Safety Annex at 50 East Street.
In addition to the life like training scenarios which included traffic stops, responding to domestic situation calls, and active shooter response training, the demonstration also focused on emphasizing communication and de-escalation training.
