Mayor Sarno Upset About Another Social Media Post by a Springfield Fire Fighter

Mayor Sarno stated, “It has been brought to my attention that a Springfield Fire Fighter has posted an inappropriate social media post.  This is very concerning to me and I have requested Fire Commissioner BJ Calvi and other appropriate departments to conduct an investigation in this matter ASAP.  My administration will stay consistent in dealing with these types of posts under our City’s Social Media Policy.  These types of posts advocate for violence and whether it’s against peaceful protestors, police officers, public safety and/or elected officials, it is wrong and cannot be tolerated, nor condoned.”
