Mayor Sarno Joined with LaTonia Monroe Naylor, Member of the School Committee, Alongside Parent Villages for a Rally Cry for Springfield to #ShowUp to Protect Our Children

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno today joined with School Committeewoman LaTonia Monroe Naylor on the steps of City Hall for a Rally Cry for the youth of Springfield alongside Parent Villages, Inc., other elected officials, community leaders, leaders of the faith community, youth, and families to stand in solidarity against gun violence. 

Also in attendance were Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood, Deputy Chief Rupert Daniel, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Attorney Talia Gee, Constituent Services Director Darryl Moss, School Committeewoman Denise Hurst, City Councilors Jesse Lederman and Adam Gomez, State Representatives Carlos Gonzalez and Bud Williams, and members and representatives of Springfield Red Sox, Young Scholars Academy, New North Citizens’ Council / Good Vibes Program, The CREW, Black Men of Greater Springfield, Families Against Violence, MORE Inspiring Change Fighting for Justice, Divine Faith Ministries, Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Academic Leadership Association, and many others.
