Mayor Domenic J. Sarno continues to thank our greater Springfield business community for stepping up and providing much-needed PPE’s for our police, fire and frontline personnel.
Today, state Senator Eric Lesser connected the City of Springfield with Pia Kumar, owner of Universal Plastics in Holyoke. Universal Plastics has generously donated 100 face shields to our Springfield Police and Fire Departments and frontline personnel.
Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank Senator Lesser for making the introduction with Pia Kumar. These face shields will go immediately to our brave and dedicated officers and firefighters at our SPD and SFD. I am deeply thankful to Pia Kumar and everyone at Universal Plastics for stepping up and donating these much-needed PPE’s for our frontline personnel.
