Mayor Sarno Thanks MGM Springfield for Providing Cots and Heaters in Support of the City’s COVID-19 Response

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno thanks MGM Springfield for providing the City of Springfield with cots and heaters to help support the city’s continuing efforts in response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.

MGM Springfield will be donating 60 cots and 16 outdoor heaters.  These cots and heaters will be utilized to support the city’s fully operational and state of the art homeless tent triage facility operations and in support of the city’s contingency plans in case of a surge of COVID-19 cases.

Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank MGM President and COO Chris Kelley and his MGM Team for stepping up in support of our city’s ongoing and continued efforts in responding to this Coronavirus situation.  These much needed items will go a long way in assisting our city’s coronavirus response.”

MGM President and COO Chris Kelley added, “We are a strong community, but this is a challenging time, and MGM Springfield will continue to do what we can to support those impacted and those on the frontline.”
