Mayor Sarno Holds Cabinet Level Meetings for Situational Updates on COVID-19

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno continues his early morning meetings with his cabinet heads during the COVID-19 – Coronavirus Public Health Emergency.  Those in attendance include: Health Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris, CAFO TJ Plante, Superintendent of Schools Dan Warwick, Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood, Fire Commissioner BJ Calvi, Deputy Fire Chief Michael Hess, DPW Director Chris Cignoli, Executive Director of PBRM Patrick Sullivan, Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan, Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations William Mahoney, City Solicitor Attorney Ed Pikula, Chief of Staff Tom Ashe and Communications Director William Baker.  

Mayor Sarno states, “This proud team is tested and true.  Like me, many are veterans of our past response of dealing with our EF-3 tornado (June 1, 2011) and late October / pre-Halloween freak nor’easter too.  Once again, rest assured the residents and business community of Springfield are in good hands.  We will keep working 24/7 with our local, state and federal partners to get us through this public health emergency.  We will keep you updated on our continued actions to keep you all healthy and safe.  Please always remember and never forget – we will get through this together as one and for the better too.  Stay healthy and may God Bless you and your family.”
