Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Fire Commissioner BJ Calvi today to announce that starting March 10, 2020, the Springfield Fire Department will be rolling out their EpiPen Program.
Mayor Sarno stated, “This is near and dear to my heart as my two daughters have allergies and have to carry their EpiPens with them at all times. Having our Springfield Fire Department access to this life saving instrument is vital as most often they are the first responders on scene. I applaud Fire Commissioner Calvi on his leadership in making this program a priority for our Fire Department.”
