The City of Springfield C3 Neighborhood organizations will be joining forces to present the Springfield Citywide C3 Safety Fest.

The Springfield Citywide C3 Safety Fest is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. The Springfield Citywide C3 Safety Fest will take place Springfield’s Riverfront Park on West Columbus Avenue from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

“This is our continued C3 Policing model – a collaboration of law enforcement and neighborhoods working together as one to make a better Springfield.  I’m very appreciative of our C3 and our residents’ continued belief and investment in our Springfield” said Mayor Domenic J. Sarno.

“The Springfield Police Department needs neighbors working together and with our officers in order to address crime and quality of life issues in our fine city. By working together, we have impacted both crime and quality of life issues, making our city safer and a better place to live, work or operate a business. Please help us celebrate and strengthen our community relationships by attending your local National Night Out event,” said Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood.

"I'm am thrilled that the Mason Square, North End, Forest Park and South End C3 community chairs, Mayor Sarno's Office and the Sheriff's Department came together to host this event. Our goal is to highlight what public offices, community residents, community organizations and law enforcement can accomplish if we work together,” said City Councilor Tracye Whitfield, who also organizes the Mason Square C3.
