Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Acting Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood swore in the newest class of Springfield Police Officers

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Acting Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood swore in the newest class of Springfield Police Officers last week at Springfield College.Mayor Sarno stated, “I’m proud and thankful that these young men and young ladies and their families have the desire to make this sacrifice to serve and protect all of our residents with courage, professionalism, honor and integrity under the leadership of Acting Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood. Godspeed to them all.” The recruits have successfully completed five months of training and will serve as patrol officers in the City of Springfield.
