Mayor Domenic J. Sarno is pleased to be asked by Massachusetts Department of Transportation Secretary and CEO Stephanie Pollack to serve on the State’s Project Advisory Committee for the East-West Passenger Rail Study.
Mayor Sarno states, “This is a very pivotal and exciting time in Springfield with the advent of Union Station for transportation, economic and housing development, initiatives. I look very forward to ‘evening the playing field’ with the eastern part of the Commonwealth.”
The first meeting will be held right here in Springfield on Tuesday December 18, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission offices at 60 Congress Street.
