The Springfield Cultural Council announces its 2019 Grant Cycle for the residents of Greater Springfield, MA.
The Springfield Cultural Council is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils, funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, serving all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The LCC Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities each year.
The Springfield Cultural Council seeks applications for residents who are interested in funding for the Arts, Humanities, Sciences and Field trips. Information and forms are available online at www.mass-culture.org. Applications will be accepted after September 1st and are due no later than October 15th. Residents should complete only the on-line application form. There will be no paper applications available this year.
The Springfield Cultural Council supports project grants produced by individuals and/or organizations with the end resulting in an artistic exhibition. All grants will be submitted by an online application. If you are new to the process, the following informational and pitch night sessions will be administered for your convenience.
Information Session: Thursday, October 11th. 6:00-7:00 pm at City Hall Room 220
PITCH NIGHT: Wednesday, November 13th, 6PM – 7pm UMASS Center – Main St.
