Mayor Domenic J. Sarno announced that he has authorized splash pads to be opened two weeks earlier than scheduled in anticipation of the extreme heat warning. Nine sites are open today and all sites will be opened by noon time on Monday.
In preparation of the heat, the following splash pads have been activated for today.
Van Horn Park
Calhoun Park
Marshal Roy Park
Hubbard Park
Nathan Bill Park
Balliett Park
Emily Bill Park
Kennifick Park
Mary Troy Park
The following are being renovated or painted and will open by Mid July
Forest Park
Barrows Park
Adams Park
Myrtle Street Park
