Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “Due to the weather and upon recommendation of emergency preparedness officials, Springfield City Hall will close at 2:00 p.m. today. This pertains to all non-emergency employees. All city emergency and essential services will remain intact. Also if possible, we urge that residents stay off the roads, and for businesses to consider an early release policy too. There is a likelihood that City Hall will have a delayed opening (TBD) for Thursday, March 8, 2018 too. Please be prepared and stay safe.”
