Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Fire Commissioner BJ Calvi welcomed Springfield’s newest class of firefighters during a ceremony at Springfield Fire Headquarters this morning.
The four new firefighters graduated at the Department of Fire Service’s academy in Stowe late last year. Congratulations to Peter Cubilette, Joshua Kenniston, Jonathan Shea and Ryan Wilkie!
Mayor Sarno was happy to congratulate the city’s newest public safety officials. He said, “My congratulations and thanks to our new firefighters and their families. It’s great to have you on our team and I appreciate your brave and dedicated services to our city. Godspeed.”
