On Thursday, the Springfield Department of Veterans’ Services held their annual ceremony naming the 2017 Parade Marshal and Veteran of the Year. Dr. Mark Mullan, MD was awarded Parade Marshal, and Paul Siefert, an Investigator with Veterans Services, was awarded Veteran of the Year. Both led the thousands of participants in the 2017 Veterans’ Day Parade contingent, held on an idyllic fall day this past Saturday.
