Upon the invitation of Springfield Fire Department Lieutenant Seth Cournoyer, Mayor Sarno visited the Mason Square Fire Station this morning for a tour and breakfast with the firefighters, prepared by Captain Robert Duffy. Afterwards, Mayor Sarno stopped by the monument dedicated to his old friend Leonard A. Corbin, the first black firefighter in Springfield's history.
