Hurricane Harvey: How to Help

Thursday, August 31, 2017

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s devastation on Southeastern Texas, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner has established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which is accepting donations to aid in flood relief efforts. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno is issuing a call to our Springfield community, which came together in support after the 2011 tornado, to help those in Texas affected by the hurricane.

Mayor Sarno stated, “Having ourselves gone through a terrible natural disaster – our thoughts and prayers go out to Mayor Turner and all affected in the Houston area. Any way we can assist, we will. No donation is too small or too large. Please give to help others in their time of need.”
