Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states that Gerena tunnel improvement work continues on replacing pin hole leaks in pipe and also started, abatement procedures in closed rooms. Additionally, major roadway work was completed in the North End to repave Main Street. Please see the attached photos.
Mayor Sarno states that he is very appreciative of the continued leadership efforts of Patrick Sullivan, Executive Director of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management, Superintendent Daniel Warwick and DPW Director Chris Cignoli’s team efforts on the city side, and those of State Senator Jim Welch, State Representative Carlos Gonzalez and MassDOT’s efforts on the state side in our continued commitment to these projects.
