Today the Springfield Museums opened the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Enjoy photos from the celebration and a look inside the incredible museum which celebrates the life, career and creativity of one of Springfield's native sons, Theodor Geisel, beloved by millions across the globe as Dr. Seuss. Following was Paul Picknelly's fundraiser for the museum at the Springfield Sheraton, from which all proceeds benefit the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss.
