Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Patrick Sullivan, Executive Director of Parks, Recreation and Building Management observed the 100th birthday of President John F. Kennedy this afternoon at the Eternal Flame memorial in Forest Park. After brief remarks on how President Kennedy and his leadership impacted generations of Americans, they laid a wreath at the memorial.
“We must always remember and never forget President Kennedy’s spirit to achieve and serve our community for the greater good – his legacy lives on. God rest his soul,” said Mayor Sarno.
