Gandara Center Announces Summer Camp Scholarships

Springfield Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management (DPBRM) and the Gándara Center announced a partnership today, which will provide summer camp opportunities for 100 Springfield youth this year. The Gándara Center has been providing mental health and addiction recovery services to children, adults and families in the Pioneer Valley since 1977 with many of the services in Springfield, including two mental health outpatient clinics in the North End. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno attended in support of the initiative, as well as Executive Director of DBRM Patrick Sullivan, Representatives Jose Tosado, Carlos Gonzalez and Bud Williams, City Councilor Adam Gomez, and Ben Craft, Senior Director of Public Affairs Public Affairs for Baystate Health.
