The City of Springfield is participating in Light It Up Blue, a unique global initiative by Autism Speaks to help raise awareness about the growing public health concern that is Autism. Iconic landmarks around the world will Light It Up Blue to show their support during the month of April World Autism Awareness Month.
Today during a press conference with Sunshine Village, Mayor Domenic J. Sarno gave a proclamation declaring Autism Awareness Month in the City of Springfield. Sunshine Village also brought artwork that will be displayed on the first floor of City Hall in recognition of Autism Awareness Month.
