This morning Mayor Sarno joined Spirit of Springfield President Judy Matt in announcing the 2017 Honorary Chairman of the World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast – Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi! Sheriff Cocchi was passed the torch by Senator Jim Welch, who last year served as Co-Chair along with Senator Eric Lesser. The Pancake Breakfast is sponsored by MGM Springfield.
The annual event will be held in downtown Springfield on Saturday, May 13 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. A dining table will run down Main Street from Court Square to Tower Square and the event menu will feature pancakes, bacon, and coffee.
