Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski and elected officials earlier today at Pope Francis High School in Chicopee for ceremony to reveal design plans for the new Gunnery Sergeant Thomas J. Sullivan Memorial Alumni Plaza, which will be in the new school on Surrey Road. GySgt. Sullivan gave his life while defending his country in July of 2015 during an attack on a Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN. A Springfield native, he grew up with his family in East Forest Park and was a 1994 graduate of Cathedral High School.
