Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined Minuteman Press today at their new 1365 Main Street location for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Minuteman Press, a print shop owned by Michael and Lindsey Weber, specializes in printed products like business documents, posters and banners, brochures, and other promotional material.
Mayor Sarno said, “It is always exciting to see great new developments happening here in our downtown. I thank Michael and Lindsey Weber for their continued belief and investment in the City of Springfield and am happy to welcome them and their business – continued success!”
The City of Springfield assisted Minuteman Press in the process of opening its downtown location with the help of a $15,000 Small Business Loan. These loans are funded through the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant fund allocation and allow for up to half of the loan to be forgiven if the business stays in compliance with the loan agreement.
