AT&T brought its unique, 3-D virtual reality distracted driving simulator to Central High School today to raise awareness of the dangerous effects of looking at your smartphone while driving.
Part of AT&T’s national It Can Wait campaign to curb texting while driving, the distracted driving simulator is a three-dimensional virtual reality experience that shows viewers just how difficult it is to safely operate a moving vehicle while glancing down at your phone.
Mayor Sarno stated, “Very appropriate of AT&T’s preventative efforts to show young and old how quickly one’s life can change and/or God-forbid end, with the dangers of distracted driving. Pay attention – and put it down!”
