City of Springfield Raises Ecuadorian Flag in Celebration of Ecuadorian Independence Day

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined members of the Ecuadorian Civic Club and their families for their annual event at City Hall to celebrate the Ecuadorian Day of Independence. Members presented the history of Ecuadorian independence in both English and Spanish before raising the Ecuadorian flag. Mayor Sarno presented a proclamation declaring Wednesday, August 10, 2016 as Ecuadorian Independence Day in the City of Springfield.
