On Thursday, July 28, 2016 Mayor Sarno, Sgt. John Delaney and the Quality of Life Ordinance Flex Squad conducted a “park & walk” on Carver Street to interact with residents and hear their concerns. The Ordinance Unit, made up of Sgt. Delaney and Officers Craig Staples, Joe Piemonte, Ivan Rosas, William Witherspoon, Steven Tyburski and Keith Fleming do this type of control every week, and so far this year have issued 900 ordinance violations to make sure that the city stays clean.
