Please be advised of the following road closures due to ongoing MGM Springfield construction work:
Union Street between Main Street and East Columbus Avenue will be closed effective Monday, May 9, 2016 for approximately 2-3 weeks to complete storm and sanitary tie in as well as valve installation work.
Due to the nature of this work, changes to traffic patterns and traffic delays are expected. For the duration of the project, eastbound traffic will be detoured to East Columbus Avenue and State Street, and westbound traffic will be detoured to Main Street and Fremont Street. Traffic will be managed with posted signs and police detail. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
