Springfield Recognized as Pacesetter Community by the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Superintendent Daniel Warwick were present at Warner Elementary School as the City of Springfield was recognized as a 2015 Pacesetter by the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading. Springfield is one of 38 communities nationwide to receive the recognition, which is awarded to communities for making measurable progress in helping children from low-income families become proficient readers. Reading for Success by 4th Grade and community partners were cited for making progress on attendance outcomes.
