Demolition of 60-62 Revere Street

Mayor Sarno and City of Springfield Community Development Officials announced the demolition of the long blighted property at 60-62 Revere Street. The property was privately owned and abandoned, and had been an eyesore in the Forest Park neighborhood for a significant amount of time. The City obtained a court order from the Western Division Housing Court to demolish the building. Demolition was funded through City of Springfield Demolition Bond funding.
