The Springfield Women's Commission held the 19th Annual International Women's Day Ceremony today at Springfield Technical Community College. This year's honoree of the Unsung Heroine Award was Dr. Arlene Rodriguez, Vice President of Academic Affairs at STCC. Mayor Sarno proclaimed Tuesday, March 8, 2016 as "Dr. Arlene Rodriguez Day" in the City of Springfield.
