Attorney General Establishes Community Engagement Division

Attorney General Healey has established a Community Engagement Division, which aims to fulfill the Office’s mission to serve all people in the Commonwealth in every one of its diverse communities.

Beginning next Wednesday, November 18th, staff and attorneys from the Attorney General's office will be at the Springfield Central City Library each month to speak with residents about a different topic.

Each event will go from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The schedule for the next few months is as follows:

  • Wednesday, November 18th – Winter Rights
  • Wednesday, December 9th  – Retail Rights & Charitable Giving
  • Wednesday, January 13th  – Identity Theft
  • Wednesday, February 17th – Lemon Law

While we have a general topic set for each month, staff will be available to answer general questions or take complaints that residents may have. The goal is to be as accessible as possible, and to better inform residents of their rights in a variety of areas, and to let them know that the Attorney General's office is available as a resource.

For more information, please contact Margie Pullo, Policy Assistant, Policy and Government Division in the Office of Attorney General Maura Healey at 617-963-2254.
