“This is a notification that the Gerena Community School Buildings and the connecting Tunnel system will be closed beginning Friday, April 12, 2013 at 8:00PM, and reopening on Sunday, April 21, at 3:00PM.
The Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management will be working on the floors in the Atrium and Gallery portion of the building. There will be a special multi-step product installed on the floors to prevent water from weeping up from underneath. In order to not void the warranty, the floors must be isolated from all foot traffic.
Advance notification was given to all organizations occupying spaces within the building, and those groups have made other arrangements for continuation of their services. Please check directly with those organizations.
