Last week some City residents received a letter from the City’s Office of Administration and Finance requesting updated information aimed at determining continued eligibility for trash fee discounts and to update City records for those households receiving the discount.
In an effort to ensure the continuity of discounts, Mayor Domenic J. Sarno has directed that all discounts for qualified individuals be re-applied in the City’s database. A confirmation letter will be mailed to qualifying residents currently receiving the discount.
Going forward, the City’s Finance Division will update the discounts based on new applications and home ownership changes.
