On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Greg Bialecki and the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation will announce a new pilot program, called “Tools to Grow,” designed to deliver management consultant assistance and flexible, customized financing to businesses that are poised for growth. The pilot program will offer services to six Springfield businesses that have annual sales under $500,000 and are committed to staying in the city, and to three companies statewide that have annual sales over $1 million. The program is designed to demonstrate that businesses can grow faster and more effectively when access to management assistance and financing are linked and coordinated.
