Benchmark Carbide Corporation To Hold Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony At Their Downtown Springfield Facility

BACKGROUND

For over thirty years, Benchmark Carbide (a division of Custom Carbide Corporation) has been committed to manufacturing the highest quality cutting tools, such as carbide end mills and reamers.  Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, the facility recently relocated to 616 Dwight Street, has 16 state-of-the-art CNC machines, which run 24 hours a day/7 days a week and employs 32 associates.  Benchmark Carbide has earned the reputation of providing cost effective premium quality American-made products to meet the specific needs of our customers. 

On Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 2:30 p.m., Benchmark Carbide will officially open its doors to celebrate their new, state-of-the-art global manufacturing facility located in the heart of downtown Springfield.  This open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony will celebrate the future of manufacturing and Benchmark Carbide's commitment to Springfield's economic revival.  Facility tours will be provided.
